Pengaruh gender dan depreciation to asset serta tangibility terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia tahun 2012-2016

Abstract


Struktur modal adalah sumber pembiayaan perusahaan seperti hutang (hutang jangka panjang dan hutang jangka pendek), laba ditahan dan ekuitas. Perusahaan harus mampu menyeimbangkan penggunaan struktur modal secara keberlanjutan dan operasional perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh dari gender, depreciation to asset, dan tangibility terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan Manufaktur di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2012 – 2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini   adalah   perusahaan   manufaktur   yang   terdapat   di   BEI  tahun   2012-2016   dengan   sampel menggunakan purpose dan memiliki data variabel yang diperlukan. Terdapat 410 data observasi dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan regresi data panel. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur  modal  sebagai  variabel  dependen  dan  gender,  depreciation  to  asset,  tangbility  sebagai variabel independent. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gender berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan pada stukrtur modal. Komisaris wanita cenderung menggunakan dana ekuitas eksternal dibandingkan laba ditahan. Untuk depreciation to asset berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan. Hal ini menunjukan depreciation to asset tidak mampu menurunkan tingkat penggunaan hutang dalam penggunaan sumber pembiayaan. Untuk Tangiblity berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap struktur modal.  Hal  ini  menunjukan  bahwa  perusahaan  cenderung  menginginkan  hutang  jangka  panjang dengan investasi risiko yang tinggi.
