Pengaruh business group dan financial distress terhadap cash holding perusahaan pulp & paper yang terdaftar di bei periode 2012-2016

Abstract


 

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari Business Group, Financial Distress, dan Business Group yang di interaksikan dengan Financial Distress terhadap Cash Holding perusahaan Pulp & Paper yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive random sampling dengan kriteria tertentu sehingga didapatkan 8 perusahaan sebagai sampel penelitian dengan rentang waktu penelitian selama 5 tahun, sehingga jumlah sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 40 sampel. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa variabel Business Group berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Cash Holding, Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan yang tergabung di dalam Business Group memiliki Cash Holding yang tinggi. Financial Distress berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Cash Holding, Hal ini menunjukkan perusahaan yang mengalami financial distress tidak pasti memiliki Cash Holding yang rendah. sedangkan Business Group Interaksi Financial Distress berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Cash Holding. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan yang mengalami Financial Distress dan tergabung dalam Business Group tidak pasti memiliki Cash Holding yang rendah.
