Minat investasi generasi milenial di bursa efek Indonesia

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh literasi keuangan, influencer media sosial, dan preferensi risiko terhadap minat generasi milenial dalam berinvestasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menyasar generasi milenial di Kota Denpasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dengan memanfaatkan google  form yang menyertakan 150 responden. Data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan software SmartPLS 3.2.9. Secara empiris, minat berinvestasi generasi milenial dipengaruhi oleh literasi keuangan dan influencer media sosial. Sedangkan preferensi risiko tidak mampu mempengaruhi secara signifikan minat berinvestasi generasi milenial. Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa variabel literasi keuangan menunjukkan nilai koefisien jalur tertinggi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa literasi keuangan sangat penting dan harus mendapatkan perhatian besar dalam meningkatkan minat investasi generasi milenial. Studi ini memberikan implikasi bagi pihak BEI dalam meningkatkan jumlah investor pasar modal Indonesia yang menyasar generasi milenial.
