Strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan berbasis pemberdayaan perempuan

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi peningkatan kesejahteraan berbasis pemberdayaan perempuan di kawasan pesisir Pantai Amal, Kota Tarakan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis SWOT. Faktor internal masuk pada kategori kekuatan dan kelemahan kegiatan sedangkan untuk faktor eksternal masuk pada kategori peluang dan ancaman. Setelah itu dibuat diagram SWOT untuk menentukan letak kuandran dari strategi yang akan dipilih dengan melakukan perhitungan IFE dan perhitungan EFE. Matriks SWOT menghasilkan beberapa strategi alternatif yang diperoleh dari variabel-variabel internal dan eksternal sesuai dengan keadaan masyarakat pesisir terkhususnya perempuan. Hasil kegiatan mengungkapkan bahwa perempuan Pantai Amal dapat menunjang ekonomi keluarga dengan adanya pemberdayaan kreativitas dari hasil laut Pantai Amal, seperti produk olahan rumput laut ataupun perikanan lainnya. Strategi yang dilakukan melalui peningkatan dan aplikasi keterampilan yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan, memperluas networking melalui pertemuan asosiasi ataupun kegiatan pameran usaha.
