https://journal.feb.unmul.ac.id/index.php/MICEBProceeding/article/view/14241

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the business cycle on price-cost margins in Indonesian banking. The research method used is the System Generalized Method Moment (SYS-GMM) to analyze 94 conventional banks in Indonesia for the period 2011-2020. The results of the study indicate that credit is countercyclical to the price-cost margin. This result indicates the financial accelerator mechanism in Indonesian banking. https://journal.feb.unmul.ac.id/index.php/MICEBProceeding/article/view/14242

The presence of a coal mining company in Tani Harapan Village will of course have an impact not only on the environment but also on the socio- economic community, both positive and negative. One of the company's efforts to overcome the negative impact that arises and as a form of corporate social responsibility, they are committed to implementing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Implementation of CSR is said to be successful if people are trained to become independent individuals and have a high level of empowerment. The level of community empowerment according to Indah S et al. (2018) is based on the ability to access information, make decisions, business ability, and collaborate. Achieving community empowerment through implementing CSR programs will run optimally if supported by individual characteristics. https://journal.feb.unmul.ac.id/index.php/MICEBProceeding/article/view/14243

Empowering women necessitates the support and understanding of the community. This research seeks to: (1) determine the public perceptions of women’s economic empowerment; (2) determine the problems and needs for women's economic empowerment; and (3) develop strategies for women's economic empowerment. This research employed a combined method (quantitative-qualitative) and surveyed the residents of Kutai Kartanegara Regency through face-to-face interviews. In this research, the entire population of Kutai Kartanegara Regency was analyzed. Using the Slovin formula, a sample size of up to 420 individuals was calculated. The analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. The result of this study shows that majority of people in Kutai Kartanegara Regency believe that women should work so that they can contribute to the family's economic well-being. However, they want women to be able to work in the informal sector, such as entrepreneurship, which offers flexible hours and does not interfere with family time. In the economic sector, government intervention has been implemented to empower women. The economic sector is empowered through the development of skills and the provision of capital. This form of intervention is partly in line with community needs, but the process of women’s empowerment requires additional, more comprehensive policy interventions.
Ratih Fenty A. https://journal.feb.unmul.ac.id/index.php/MICEBProceeding/article/view/14244

Pekalongan Regency is a strategic area of Central Java Province on the North Coast experiencing spatial and physical changes. This research aims to evaluate the existing spatial structure of Pekalongan Regency with the spatial structure of Pekalongan Regency in development planning documents with a quantitative descriptive approach using Analysis of Scalogram, Analysisi of Centrality Index, and analysis of Kernel Density then comparing it with the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) of Pekalongan Regency for 2011 – 2031. The result is that based on Analysis of Scalogram, the local activity center of Pekalongan Regency with city order I is Kedungwuni District and Kajen District, this is different from the RTRW of Pekalongan Regency for 2011-2031 which mentions Kedungwuni district as the center of local promotional activity for order 2. Then by using analysis of Marshal Centrality Index, it is also known that the local activity center of Pekalongan Regency is in two districts, namely Kajen district and Kedungwuni district, which is different from the determination of the Pekalongan Regency Spatial Planning (RTRW) in 2011 - 2031. By using analysis of Kernel Density, it is known that Kedugwuni District, Buaran District and Wiradesa District, is the center of local activity with order I. The conclusion is that the Spatial Structure in the Spatial Document Planning (RTRW) of Pekalongan Regency for 2011 - 2031 needs to be revised because there is a shift in the spatial structure based on the results of the analysis above so that development in Pekalongan Regency is appropriate according to planning.
Puput Wahyu BudimanTri IdawijayantiPebiansyah HapsariSuharsono Suharsono

https://journal.feb.unmul.ac.id/index.php/MICEBProceeding/article/view/14245

Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) creative industry sector in East Kalimantan has the potential to be a source of long-term competitive advantage in the industrial era which has shifted from a natural resource base to a knowledge base. However, SMEs in the creative industry sector and SMEs in general have limited resources and economic scale efficiency for innovation activities. There are four strategy modes for obtaining innovation for SMEs in the creative industry sector in East Kalimantan to be competitive in local, regional and international markets, namely through market-based and non-market innovation acquisition strategy modes. The strategy for obtaining market-based SME innovation is through: 1) internal development, and 2) innovation acquisition. Internal development, namely innovation activities within the SME organization because innovation is valuable, a source of competitive advantage, while the SME's internal resources support it. The innovation acquisition strategy can be carried out by SMEs because internal organizational resources are limited, but entrepreneurs in SMEs need to capture market opportunities in the short term. The capacity of SMEs is often limited to carry out innovation activities, so SMEs can adopt non-market based innovation strategies, such as through: 3) vertical and horizontal alliances, 4) partnerships. SMEs can collaborate with other SMEs, suppliers, buyers and other stakeholders to overcome resource limitations and increase the efficiency of economies of scale in carrying out innovation activities.
Yuli Fitrianto

https://journal.feb.unmul.ac.id/index.php/MICEBProceeding/article/view/14246

The development of smart governance as one of the elements of a smart city requires an approach that is more efficient but easily adaptable to regional characteristics. One method for developing efficient and integrated smart governance is through an integrated modular-customization system. The modular system can not only be used for the development of information system infrastructure, but also for other infrastructure such as regulatory products, funding systems, human resource development and training systems. This study aims to evaluate the level of maturity and barriers to the development of smart governance, as well as to limit the strategy based on modular-integration for smart governance development efficiency in developing countries, Indonesia. The research was conducted in the province of East Kalimantan, Indonesia in the context of developing a smart city to support the nation's capital. A qualitative approach to the analysis of the relevance index, the maturity level of smart governance, potential barriers and wider opportunities for modular-integration development. The research results are as follows. First, the relevance index of the modular-integration system is 0.81 or is included in the relevant category, meaning that the modular-integration system has the potential to be used to support efficient smart governance. The maturity level index is 0.59 or is included in the defined category or the development stage. Second, the development of a modular-integration system in supporting smart governance has a number of potential barriers, namely: (1) inter-regional regulations that have not been integrated, (2) changes in work patterns and even loss of jobs, especially government officials in routine jobs due to service automation, (3) there are many public service problems that are not ready to be electronically based. Such as the problem of mapping and land conflicts, validation and poverty data that is not always updated, and not ready for electronic basis, (4) not all people in urban areas have access to information technology, (5) technical infrastructure problems, data security , data that has not been integrated with data, and human resources. The development of an integrated-modular system, namely there is a general base module that is easily adapted (customized) according to the potential and problems of the city.
Adi Hendro PurnomoFitriansyah FitriansyahAri Sasmoko AdiPebiansyah HafsariYuli Fitrianto
