Abstract


Tuntutan dunia kerja yang semakin kompetitif dengan kompetensi tertentu mendorong masyarakat untuk menguasai keahlian atau keterampilan tertentu yang tidak di dapat pada pendidikan formal, selain itu  adanya pasar bebas Asian atau Asean Economi Community (AEC) 2015, turut memacu persaingan antar individu secara global, yang mendorong tumbuhnya lembaga kursus dan pelatihan di Indonesia. Data pertumbuhan LKP yang cenderung meningkat, menimbulkan situasi persaingan yang semakin ketat, membuat setiap LKP harus mampu survive, bahkan harus dapat terus berkembang. Salah satu hal penting yang perlu dilakukan dan diperhatikan oleh LKP untuk dapat bertahan dan berkembang adalah dengan terus mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kepuasan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara persepsi nilai dan kepercayaan serta citra lembaga terhadap kepuasan siswa. Model diuji melalui penggunaan metodologi persamaan struktural, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)-Parsial Least Squares (PLS). Data empiris diambil dari 91 alumni lembaga kursus LKP Multi Sarana Informatika Samarinda. Metode kuesioner dan teknik convenience sampling digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data. Analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif dan analisis model persamaan struktural digunakan untuk menguji model hipotesis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi nilai, kepercayaan dan citra lembaga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan siswa dengan tingkat signifikan statistik 0,05. Hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan adalah konstruk yang paling mempengaruhi kepuasan siswa di lembaga kursus.
